As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! I hope this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman, Ameen.

I found this great resource for Quran recitations when I was searching for an MP3 of a particular surah.  You can either download the surahs for FREE or listen to them on the internet at the website.  There are 272 Recitors.  Some of the Recitors have all of the surahs listed, while some have only some of the surahs.  I like this website because you don't have to register and become a member like many of the MP3 websites.  Plus this website gives me SO MANY options of who to listen to.

I personally like a voice that is not too high pitched yet not too deep.  I like a Recitor that doesn't go too fast yet doesn't go too slow either.  I don't like audios that echo.  I like very clear voices with very clear pronunciations.  So I spent some time listening to the list of Recitors until I found ones I liked, then I narrowed that down to the one that suited me best.  My main reason for doing this is because I don't read Arabic (yet) but during Ramadan I bought a Quran with the Transliteration which uses the English letters.  This way I can follow along with a Recitor.
