Reminder - 10 Things we Waste

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! Insha Allah this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman.

1. Our Knowledge .
Wasted by not taking action with it.

2. Our Actions:
Wasted by committing them with out sincerity.

3. Our Wealth:
Wasted by using on things that will not bring us Ajr. We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit in this life or in akhirah.

4. Our Hearts:
Wasted because they are empty from the love of Allah, and the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In it’s place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.

5. Our Bodies:
Wasted because we don’t use them in Ibadah (worship) and service of Allah.

6. Our Love:
Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah but towards something/someone else.

7. Our Time:
Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which had passed, by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Our Intellect:
Wasted on things that are not beneficial, that are detremental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Our Service:
Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in this dunyaa.

10. Our Dhikr:
Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.

Reminder - Take care of 4 things

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! Insha Allah this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman.

1) If you’re in prayer, take care of your heart;

2) If you’re eating, take care of your throat;

3) If you’re in another man’s house, take care of your eyes;

4) If you’re among people, take care of your tongue.

Reminder - Remember 2 Matters & Forget 2 Matters

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! Insha Allah this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman.

Remember two matters and forget two matters:-
Remember Allaah and Death
Forget any good that you have done to another and any evil that was done to you by another.

A Believer is not a Fault Finder

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! Insha Allah this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman.

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #313,
Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim
... 'Abd Allah reported that the
Prophet of Allah
(Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,

 "A believer is not a fault-finder
and is not abusive, obscene, or course."

***

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #329
... Ibn 'Abbas (radiAllahu anhu) said,

"If you wish to mention the faults of your friend,
mention your own faults first."

***

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #330
... Ibn 'Abbas (radiAllahu anhu) said
on the following verse of the Qur'an,

"Nor defame one another"
(49:11),
"Do not spend your time finding fault with one another."

***

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #545
Jubayr ibn Nufayr reported that
Mu'adh ibn Jabal
(radiAllahu anhu) said,

"If you love someone, do not quarrel with him
and do not annoy him.
Do not ask others about him,
for the one you ask might be his enemy
and thus tell you things about him
that are not true and thus break you apart."

***

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #889 and Ibn Hibban
'Amr ibn al 'As (radiAllahu anhu) said,

"...I am amazed at one
who spots an impurity in the eye of another
but is unable to detect it in his/her own eye,
or who attempts to remove
a grudge from another's heart
while making no attempt to remove
grduges from his/her own heart.
I have never blamed anyone
for the confidences of mine
that they have betrayed.
How could I,
when already they have given me
reason for pause?"

Attachments

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh! Insha Allah this finds you close to Allah & in the best of health and Iman.

Attachments are everything that the heart gets deeply attached to, besides Allah and His Messenger (salla lahu alayhe was salaam), like worldly pleasures, desires, leadership, being in the company of people and loving them. There is no way at all to cut off or reject these three matters except by strong attachment to the highest issue. Man does not abandon his beloved or that which he is used to, except for the sake of another beloved one who is dearer to him than the former.  And whenever his attachment to his desires becomes stronger, his attachment to others would be weaker and vice versa.  To be attached to desires is to have a strong desire for them, and that is according to one’s knowledge about it, its honor and its excellence.
