ReplyDeleteAs a catholic, I can relate to this. The only ones who say nuns are oppressed are anti-catholics. Same with muslims! The only ones who think muslim women are oppressed are those looking for an excuse to put islam down.

nuns choose to be nuns, they r not forced to do it.. but muslim girls are forced to wear hijab n burqa.. 80% are forced.... if they choose nt to wear, then in countries like Yemen, afghanistan, Iraq ...they are killed n brutaly tortured... THERE IS NO OPPRESION IN COVERING UP...BUT OPPRESSION ONLY COMES IN WHEN ONE IS COMPELLED....ONE IS NOT FREE TO CHOOSE...

ReplyDeleteThthi Banerjee : My opinion is just think if when you are ill and you are forced to eat. if you do not eat you get sick and die. so also if you are in Islam, you should follow the Islamic way was taught. no excuse for not wearing hijab if you really loyal to your religion. and no excuse with it. im muslim and im happy with my this.

ReplyDeleteIt is because becoming a Nun is a Option and GOD does not hate women who does not cover their head.

According to that it is mandatory for a woman to cover her head. and you think all woman who does not cover head are sluts. but Nuns does not think that way. FYI I am not a Muslim or a Catholic.
